#27 - Fake Schwinn bike purchased from a gypsy I met off of Craigslist. - $100 A handsome gypsy sold me this fake Schwinn with no gears. He had the same eyes as the girl on the National Geographic cover (you know the one). Not to brag but I talked him down from $120. I don’t want to go into all of the depressing details but when I realized the bike was not the one listed on craigslist I sent a VERY inquisitive text message! After a series of text messages with the gypsy’s wife, I finally made a call. She called me a moron. Fair enough.
